Internal Wall Insulation (IWI), also known as dry lining, is a high performance insulation solution ideal for solid or cavity block walls. It includes a vapour control layer, helping prevent air leakage and water vapour while allowing your home to heat up quickly and efficiently.
How Does It Work?
Encon installs internal insulation using either timber battens or light gauge steel framing systems. This creates a cavity between the insulation and the original wall, adding a protective layer against moisture and external elements. The vapour control layer ensures a warm, dry interior environment while maintaining structural integrity.
